Our next “official” Newcomers Gathering will be Saturday, June 25 at 10:00 am. We’ll meet at the Old Mill Pond Park in Lindale to look around, play in the park a bit… until we get hot, then we’ll take refuge down the street at Texas Music City Lindale for lunch (around 11:30). TMC is in an area called The Cannery, which has a cluster of interesting retail and restaurants. Anyone with energy left after lunch can check into the Red 55 winery and tasting room. 

Old Mill Pond Museum consists of fourteen buildings & pavilions on a beautiful 20+ acre site. As you stroll through the park, you will see displays of historical artifacts that depict early American like circa 1850 to 1950. FREE ADMISSION. Old Mill Pond Museum Link
